About Ben

Graduating as a Student Athlete from Northeastern State in 2008 and from the University of Arkansas School of Law in December of 2014, Ben passed the Arkansas BAR exam and went to work for the Washington County Public Defender's Office. During his time there, he handled thousands of cases and gained immense trial experience.

 

He was then selected by one of the largest criminal firms in Northwest Arkansas due to his ability to take cases to trial, negotiate the best deals possible and keep his clients out of jail. While at this firm, he increased his knowledge of DWI defense, Traffic Violations and Trial skills. After a year, Ben decided to open his own firm, founded on his criminal experience- he now offers a personal defense experience and other services to help as many people as possible.

About Makenzie

Born and raised on the Buffalo River, Makenzie moved from Searcy County, Arkansas, to Fayetteville where she graduated from the University of Arkansas with her Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and Sociology; then moved on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law. She Passed the Arkansas Bar and was immediately employed as a staff attorney with Legal Aid of Arkansas in Harrison with a focus on Family law. While in Harrison, she served the legal needs of seven counties for two years; and in February of 2017, she was transferred to the Springdale Legal Aid office where she served Washington, Madison and Benton counties. Makenzie has handled thousands of cases and has gained significant experience during her time at Legal Aid as well as developed strong relationships with judges and attorneys throughout Arkansas/ She also gained experience with defending debtors from debt collection as well as persons involved in social security disability appeals.

After her three year employment with Legal Aid, Makenzie has joined Ben in his pursuit of zealous representation. Makenzie believes that a clients success depends on her commitment as an attorney to solving a clients problems and she strives to obtain the best outcome possible for her client.

About Tyler

Born in raised in East Arkansas, Tyler graduated from Arkansas State University in 2003. He moved to Fayetteville in 2004. He graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2011. After passing the Arkansas Bar, Tyler joined the Washington County Public Defender’s Office. During which, he too handled thousands of cases and gained trial experience. Through this experience, Tyler became able to handle complex felony trials, and even became certified to try Capital Murder cases.

Tyler then joined a prestigious private firm as an associate. Here, he continued his criminal practice, and learned domestic relations. He became experienced in divorce, custody, support, and alimony. He also gained experienced in complex divorce cases that involve mutual business assets. Tyler also learned to practice probate and estate planning law, including wills and trusts.

Tyler is dedicated to providing personal attention to his clients and understanding their unique situation. He practices criminal law in both Arkansas and Federal Courts, Family Law, and Wills Trusts and Estates.
